uhh hello??? I wonder if anyone reads this anymore, well no big deal if not. I figured I would kill some time tonight and give really a long awaited update to what's been going on with me. Well lets just start from when I last posted which was a long ass time ago. So to skip some of the bullshit I joined an ambulance/rescue squad that's a few miles from my house and that's been pretty fun I'm with a good bunch of people and I like it there a lot. I finished college in May...about fucking time if you ask me and 2 weeks after I graduated I had my going away party which was amazing...we played pong it was me and Jennings on a team and we went 13-0 which is an amazing run and we all got pretty messed up. A week after that I left for Air Force basic which was an experience let me just tell you. Although it wasn't that long I met pretty cool people who I still keep in touch with. I was made what's called an element leader and really I was one of the people that was put in charge of the flight, as cool as that sounds let me tell you how much that fucking sucked balls because you had to put up with all the bullshit from everyone while holding military bearing and discipline. I graduated basic in the end July and my parents came down as well as my aunt and uncle and Silvia. Now my parents were pretty upset when I left for basic but man the first time seeing them at the Airmens coin ceremony was amazing. I remember seeing my dad first and well he is your typical Italian tough guy who doesn't show feeling too much and all and when I saw him he his eyes teared up and he huged me and told me how proud he was of me. That's one of the moments that I will never forget and hell its been about 8 months and I can still recall everything about that day. My mom was crying too when I saw her but I kinda expected her too. The day after the Airmen coin ceremony I graduated and that's when I saw Silvia, my aunt, and uncle, and like at the Airmens coin ceremony the emotions came out too, which isn't a bad thing at all really. So after getting some freedom back after graduation I hung out with my parents and loved ones for that weekend. On that Monday I shipped out of Lackland and went to Goodfellow for tech school. Tech school was a blast really, it was 13 weeks of fire school which most of it until we got to the end of the class was all a review for me. At fire school I met some more awesome people who I also keep in touch with. At the end of this I will post some pictures from my fun fun time in the Air Force. So I graduated fire school a week earlier then when I was supposed to start but that's because I started class a week before I was supposed to which worked out well because my class was a small class which worked out. My graduation from fire school was another proud day for me because really that put an end to my Air Force training in Texas and that gave me the green light to go home which was well welcomed. My parents didn't come down for the fire school graduation but that's because I told them not too because it wasn't as big and flashy as the graduation from basic. So when I got back in I got a pretty big reception at the airport where pretty much all of my friends came down to welcome me back as well as my family. It was awesome to see them and even more awesome that I was wearing my dress blues too which look sharp with the badges that I have too. =) So after getting back I went to report to McGuire and I was given the chance to do what's called seasonal training where I go on active duty for 6 months and get my driver training done. So I've been doing that since November and I have under 2 months left then who knows what I will do as far as a job goes because I need cash lol. Getting back I jumped back into the swing of things as far as doing the ambulance and fire stuff. I also went back and coached swimming for another year which went well, we won our division that we were in which excited me a lot because hell I couldn't do that in high school even though its different now then it was then but still its all good. In January I was voted in as lieutenant for my fire company which I am very happy to fill the position because its a step in the right direction to where I want to go. I'm still with that girl Silvia and its going good which is shocking because I usually find some way to fuck shit up. Hmm what else...what else I'm not really sure I think that sums up everything in a nut shell, oh one last thing before I go I got promoted too so go me I got another stripe on my arm. =) So on that note I'm going to close this and leave you with some pics and videos and all that fun stuff, for those that read this comment it up I'd be glad to hear from you all...till next time take it easy =)

Yup it is true I am actually updating with something to read as opposed to a pointless entry. So what has been going on, to be honest not too much it seems like the same stuff every day. If I'm not seeing Silvia then I am at the fire house or I am in Hoboken getting drunk with Chris, or I am taking classes. I am trying to bang out as many classes before I leave. Now you might be scratching your heads...leave what is he talking about??? Well this has been a month in the working but I joined the Air Force Reserves, so starting June 11, 2007 I will be at Lackland AFB in Texas. I will be there till July 27th. Which isn't too bad but right after boot camp I go to technical school to "learn" my job which I will be a fire fighter. The tech school in at Goodfellow AFB which is also in Texas and that runs from August 10th till November 16th so I will be gone for a damn long time and I asked if I could come home between the breaks and that answer was no. So a bunch of people aren't happy with this, mainly my parents and Silvia because I will be gone for so long. I signed off on my contract yesterday and man when I got home both parents weren't too happy so from them it was like "I wish you would have done your career first" and "Its your life but you are going to get shipped to Iraq" and so on. I told them that I am not going to argue that point because really at this point I have no idea what I am going to do, I could go there or I could just never leave Jersey so who knows. So other then the Air Force my life has just been quiet. I went to a class last weekend called Advanced Truck Operations. All we did in that class was review the stuff we did in fire 2 and the only real thing I got out of that class was how to cut a hole in a roof because they never taught us that in school. We had a fire last Friday which was cool, it wasn't anything too big it was a warehouse and just a bunch of cardboard boxes went up so it was messy for the overhaul process because we had to make sure that it was all out and picking through wet cardboard sucks balls. Holy shit...this class kicked some ass...there's nothing better then a lot of flame to turn a normal Saturday into a kick ass Saturday. =)

So I will do a small recap on things before I really want to jot down the ideas I want to...

I finished the EMT class and took the test, but failed by 5 questions...that sucked balls...I took it again and I'm waiting on the results of the exam to come in

I started my fire 2 class last night and that class is going to kick some ass

We had a fire Saturday night in a warehouse but I got there late because I was coming from Hoboken, so I had to be the bird dog which is stay at quarters and you ride with the out of town companies that are there to cover and you tell them where to go

Before that fire came in on Saturday I asked this girl Silvia out and she said yes...this makes me smile =)

Now to what I really want to get to...tonight I went to a wake for a North Hudson fire fighter who was killed on Saturday night battling a 4 alarm house fire. He was on the third floor when it flashed over and the ceiling fell on him. Now considering I know what its like when rooms flash over, because I was caught in one, I can say that its not a fun feeling. So anyway the wake was open casket and man this poor guy just didn't look good at all, you can tell they used a lot of make up on him because his skin color wasn't right and you can tell his nose was burnt and it looked like his lips were painted on. Seeing this is weird being a fellow fire fighter because hell one day that might be me laying in that box. And its really got me thinking about how dangerous this "job" is. I mean its really fun and I enjoy doing it but I guess its a snap back to reality because reality came and kicked me in the face. I don't know, just something I wanted to get off my chest.

jesus, all right so two months an no update oops...well lets start and recap with all this fun stuff. I am still taking the EMT class, its not too bad but now that it is coming to a close the lectures are getting just more boring, its the same stuff over and over and well there are some people in the class that still don't get this stuff, but oh well its them and not me. I need to start looking for a place so I can ride and see if I enjoy it. I was thinking about going back to school after I get out of college to become a paramedic but that's just crazy but who knows. I need to motivate my ass to fill out the application to take the state fire test. That should be really fun to take, I really need to start getting my ass in gear for that one. As for the fire stuff, I really haven't done it as much as I would really like to because well I just don't have the time for it. I mean I've gone on a few calls, went to a few fires and a few almost ones. On Sunday there was a dryer fire which if the person would have went out and left it on, god knows what would have really happened. One last thing and I will be done and over with the Fire / EMT stuff, I had to do my hospital time in UMDNJ which is fun, it was 10 hours sitting in the trauma room and not too much happened I saw a guy involved in an MVA come in, we had some guy that just wasn't feeling well, and we got a gunshot patient. So a quiet day for the most part.

So now to stray away from all that fun stuff, what really has been going on in the last two months, well a lot of things actually. I started to talk to Meghan again, she came over Chris's apartment and well we talked for a few hours when everyone was asleep, weird part about it was it reminds me of the first time I talked to her on the phone because it was about the same time length and all too. Also within the last two months all contact with Melanie has been cut, and not to go into major details, its just better that it did. So if she ever reads this or anything, I wish the best for you and take care.
With that being said time to move on, I went out and bought a nintendo ds lite yesterday, and man it kicks ass I got two games for it so that should kill a good amount of time when I should be doing something like my EMT work lol, ah well its all good. Well that should do it for my rambling, and I hope I got everything but who knows, till next time take it easy =)

I am done with exams...go me...so now summer begins...to bad I'm not graduating this year, but its all good. I start work Monday and my EMT class on Tuesday so that should be fun...lol I hope so anyway but one never knows...it will just be very long days till the end of July, but once I finish the class I should be good, and one good thing about summer is I don't have to do math problems till September, and that's what I am really excited about for this summer =)

So the last 2 weekends have been crazy with all the fire stuff...2 weeks ago we had a big brush fire, that sent myself and the rest of my company running behind the truck because this wall of flame just came up at us, and it didn't help at the time that we ran out of water. So that was fun, and a week and a day later we had a fire at a hotel which was an outside fire that went into the walls. The crew that I was with went up to the second floor and started breaking windows, busting holes into the walls to make sure it didn't spread, and forcing out way into the rooms, which by the way is a really cool thing to do. So anyway I got an email with a bunch of pictures from it, so here they go.

Also I'm not in any of these, which sucks but its all good.

So this whole Easter break has been one big trip...it all started Friday when I went to Franks house for a party...and that was sweet because I saw people I haven't seen in a long time...so yeah Saturday I went to Davel's to play some silent hill in honor of the movie that's coming out this weekend that's also the day where my computer just crashed so hard core...I have no idea what exactly happened but I have a good idea that it was the mother board that just fried and well I don't blame it because the computer I had was about 5 years old and I abused the thing so bad it wasn't even funny...Sunday was Easter and my older sister was here, and that's always an experience at best...and in which I'm not going to go into...I also ordered my new computer which should be here in a few days =) and last night I am laying on my bed about midnight and the tones go off for only us for an investigation about alarms sounding in a bank, so I get there and the captain gets there too and I ask him if he wants me to drive and he said sure so I drive...we get to 1 location and turns out that there are no alarms sounding, so we go to another location and still nothing, so the third place we get to is the place where we have to be...so a half hour later we pack up and I drive back to the fire house so I took the long way because I didn't want to back in the way that the first side would have brought me, mainly because there is a sink hole in the sidewalk and if I would have went over it, well there goes the engine, but anyway I backed it into the house in 1 shot I was quite impressed with myself for that...so because I did that I am not an "official" driver now so I cant hide in the back and say "I can't drive"...and today I had to go for a drug test for my summer job and I didn't do anything really except for the fact that about 6:00 pm my sister walks into the door and my mom goes oh shit so I look at her and shes covered in blood I mean covered so I was like fuck and run upstairs to get gloves and first aid supplies so I go and get what I need to get and I run downstairs to my room to get my first aid kit and start giving her care, so I ask her to explain to me what happened and she was riding her bike and hit a pot hole and flipped, now my mom is freaking along with my aunt so I yell at them to just leave and let me handle this, and my aunt leaves and my mom keeps asking me if I need the EMT's to come so I say no at first then as I was doing the primary survey I noticed the laceration over her eye so I said sure call them because that probably needs to be stitched so the EMT's come and take her to the hospital and I follow the ambulance, and my dad went down to the hospital with the van and I was with them till about 8:00 and I needed to get out of there, so I left them and they are still there waiting for her to get a stitch over her eye...and in case you want to know she is ok with the exception to the laceration over her eye, shes got abrasions all over her body but that's not that bad, I told my parents that I've come home with worse when I used to ride my bike and that's true and that's the end to my crazy last few days...I love how random my life can really be

its funny how things go...I feel my life is going in a big circle...I mean its just the way that things just go...like it seems that everything that goes on now went on a different time...I know the feeling of how I am now, and its just odd that it just seems like I've gone full circle and well it sucks...because I keep questioning things that I've done and I wonder if I have made the right choices to get to this point...and I know I'm not supposed to ponder on the past and all and just this morning I said to someones blog "don't regret the past" because things happen for a reason and we become stronger because of it...but what gets me is that why does it happen...or why do I think the way that I do...its just stupid to live in the past and say "well what if I wasn't a dick and did this" or "why couldn't I just have the balls to do this" and so on...and its just weird that this has all happened before, and I don't know why...I guess its just the way I am or something but ah well I need to deal with it...blah

w00t I just did 2 JavaScript programs for this girl that's on the swim team...and damn I haven't touched JavaScript in like 4 years and still was able to do them in about an hour and a half so go me...I'm happy that its Friday which means time for belligerence and stupidity which will each come sometime during this weekend...good times...what else oh I have to remember not to become that belligerent tonight because I have to teach on Saturday...gay but ah well...and yeah that's about it for now...good times =)

god damn exams...I wish I had them all last week and I was on break now...that would be sweet...but I have one more day of my school week before a nice 3 day weekend =) though I'm not a fan of the cold weather...I mean it was so nice last weekend, it even got up to 70...which is sweet for only March but now its back to the 40's blah...ah well its all good...and as it stands now I am killing time because I don't want to do computer math homework...and oh man I got the Type O Negative DVD and its pretty sweet...a few moments where you are just like wtf are they doing but its all good and yeah...pointless update so later

wow so tonight I thought was going to be uneventful night, but I was wrong...now I don't remember what time this happened so I will guess...so about 11:30 my pager went off for a smell of smoke in the basement at 164 Franklin St. so I get to the fire house and ran every red light that was in front of me...which is sweet so as I was getting dressed the first company that got there said they had heavy smoke in the area then called it a working fire...so this is what made my night...I was by myself at first at the scene and I went up to the second floor with Engine 2 and remained there till my bottle ran out...then I changed my bottle went to the back of the building and took out the window which was fun...then I went back up to the second floor again and killed about three quarters the bottle so I went out and changed the bottle again, then for the third time I went up to the 2nd floor where there was no real fire anymore (ha ha) so we started to pull the ceiling and well I was in the original room that I was in and now I can see because there wasn't too much smoke, and I took my mask off because I can see better without it so as I was pulling I said "hey guys we got fire in the ceiling" and which I was met with "that's all right keep pulling" which I did and I was with another guy who was told that he was on the wrong side which is true so he moved and I took 3 more shots at the ceiling and that's when the shit hit the fan...the fire rolled over my head and the room flashed over...and there was 2 choices I had which was out the window or dive out of the room...in which I dove out of the room...but damn that was crazy...I've never seen anything like that it was just too wild to even explain...so while I was outside the room that flashed I started to pull more ceiling and the room next to that flashed then I started to pull the ceiling over the stairs because if there was fire over the stairs then it was time to pull out...and which there was so we all pulled out then after that I went to the basement on the line and put of a small fire in the basement and wow the basement was flooded with water...there had to be a foot and a half of water there...and I wet down the whole basement...and after that I went up to the second floor again where I kept fire watch with Frank and we put out another small fire in the vent hole...then I moved into the bathroom and broke up all the tile walls because there was smoke coming from somewhere and we broke up that hot spot and that was it from inside the house...then I started to pack hose and that's about it...all my gear is soaked and I need a new pair of gloved because there is a hole in them...my cell phone still works...score...even though I was completely soaked so that's good...and yeah now its 5:35 and I'm ready to pass out...so later everyone

ps: I need to take a shower too but that will wait till I get up =)

::blows the dust off:: wow its been a while...a real long while since I've touched this...and well theres been a reason why I haven't posted in such a long time and its called myspace...it has sucked me in and really hasn't given me a desire to write anymore...but I think now that I am free from the athletic department of my school I should have some time to update this thing more...I hope...it all depends on what goes on and if I really feel a need to write in this...I re downloaded the client for my PC so by looking at that icon might actually inspire a few entries...who knows...oh well...later

Wow I have been lacking…so lets see what has happened since last time…I got new fire gear which is cool…it looks awesome…I have to take pictures sometime…work is the same stuff…my cable modem died on Monday…I had to get a new one…which is alright because I didn’t have to pay for it. I reformatted my computer and my external hard drive crapped out on me…so I am in the process of getting all the information off of it…and I might take it from the enclosure and put it inside the computer…then take the 20 gig that’s inside and make that external…but yeah…I got all the pictures back…documents and stuff like that…all I need to do is test the music and I will be set…and yeah that’s about it really…not too much else happened…so now I am going to go back being bored at work…later

Do do do so today was a slow day…I’m waiting till 4 to leave…I only had a few tasks to do and that was it…last night I was bored out of my mind so I went out and took a few pictures of stuff which I will post tonight or tomorrow…or something…tonight I am going out driving again…which should be fun…we will see…I just need to keep driving the truck to get a feel for it…and yeah…that’s about it…a quick update…later people

Another boring day here at work…I’ve been on myspace all morning…I’m such a myspace whore…I got in late too…by like a half hour because the bus never showed up…which sucked but there’s nothing I can do about it…and I get to work and a copier is down…so I have been sitting here waiting for the technician to call me back to say when they are getting here…hopefully it will be early because I would like to leave at 4…but if not then oh well its all good…last night I got to drive the rig again…except I moved from engine 5 which is a smaller rig to engine 1 which is this monster…that was interesting driving and finally backing it into the house…jeez…I saw a few people I know while I was driving too…so that was cool…almost hit a kid on a bike because he swerved back into the street…asshole…but oh well fuck it…and tomorrow I am going out driving too…which is cool…and Thursday is the mutual meeting which should be fun because all hell is breaking loose in the fire department like usual…and yeah that’s about it…I’m off to sit here and wait…later people

A lot has happened since the last update…Thursday night was crazy…I was down at the fire house and we were having our company meeting…so about 10 minutes into my captains phone rings and its this guy Chris who isn’t a member yet…he has to finish school and stuff before he can be…and he said there’s a car accident a block away and the car is smoking…so he told the guy to call 911…and the guy did…about 2 minutes later the tones go off and we go to the accident scene…the lazy jumped the curb and ran over an electrical box…and that was what was smoking…so the power company comes and they shut the power off…and we stretch a hose line and charge it…and they pull the car off the box…and we were taking pictures and stuff…it was cool…there might be a few good ones of me maybe…idk we will see…Friday I had work till 6 and I went up to Chris’s house…I got there without a problem and we went to this kid AJ’s house and drank…except I really didn’t drink…they had Budweiser and I only had one…but still good times…Saturday I slept till 12…then we went to Middletown and killed a lot of time there…then left to see Chris’s band play…the other bands that played were alright…I liked the first band and everyone after that sucked…so on the TV’s they had the NBA playoffs so I was watching that…so we leave after Chris’s band plays…and we are driving home and all you hear is a bang and a whole lot of rattling…so we pull over into this diner’s parking lot and pop the hood…the sparkplug came loose and popped or something…so we had to get it towed back to Chris’s house…now the tow truck came with a flat bed…it only fits 3 people in the cab…and there were 6 of us total…so myself, Chris, and the other tow guy sat in the car…which was bad ass…and we got back to Chris’s at like 3:00…went to sleep around 4…got up at 7 and drove home…so I leave at 8…get home by 9…it was a really fast trip this time…and find out I missed a big call…but it was out of town…so it’s a good thing I missed that…because they were on this call from 12:30 – 5:30 which doesn’t sound too good for me…then Sunday night there was a car fire…it was bad ass…too bad I didn’t go…mainly because we didn’t have a driver…which sucks…but oh well…I am going to start driving the rig soon…so we will see what happens…and today I am tired as hell…I went to sleep late like around 2 or so…and at 4:45 my pager went off for a car accident on route 3…it was a single car MVA the car hit a light pole then hit a telephone pole and burst into flames…unknown if people are trapped inside…so I was like oh shit…I got dressed and went…so by the time we got there…the other engine was already putting the flames out…so the guys that were standing around moved the light pole off the street onto the side of the road…and yeah…we supplied the other engine with water and left…I was home by 6…so on the bus I slept…lol…I looked online today and my ipod came…so I called my house to ask if it was really there and it is…bad ass…I am leaving early today so I can go home and fuck with it…and to sleep…and yeah that’s about it for now…I have to go back to doing nothing at work =) later

Another day of nothing to do…not that I am complaining or anything…its just I want something to do…my boss is out again…so I have been sitting here since 9 doing nothing…one good thing is I have like 2 hours left here and then I am gone…and yeah...last night wasn’t too good…I was just in a crappy mood and I just wasn’t nice to people…granted I am still fed up but at least now I should approach the problem a different way…which might happen sometime…no idea when…but sometime whenever…tonight I am going down to the fire house to help set up for the meeting that they are having for something…I think the North Jersey Volunteer Fire Fighters Association…or something like that…and yeah…I am going to keep this short and sweet mainly because I have nothing to type about…so later

This past weekend was awesome…after work on Friday I was driving home and I hit a car…it wasn’t bad but it just sucked…no damage was done except for a few scratches so that’s a good thing…when I got home I showered, went to the bank, and started up to Chris’s…on my way up I hit the only bad ass rain storm…it was crazy…so anyway I go to see Chris…I was at his house for like a half hour then we left to go see his band play…it was a good show…on Saturday we didn’t do too much…just hung around for the most part…and took part in a car chase with Pat…and he almost hit me…so when we got back into Chris’s house his mom ripped Chris and I a new one…but its all good…later that night we went to see Divinity Destroyed play in New Paltz good times…after the show I left for back home…and got home around 3 or so…good times…I slept in on Sunday although I should have went to the fire house I didn’t…ooops…so Chris and I got something to eat and went to Rob’s…hung out there for an hour and a half then went to froggers to see Divinity again…that was a really good show…we talked Mark into singing the end of Haven with the lyrics of MapQuest sucks…Beyond the Flesh played that show too…I got a pick so that’s cool…oh I forgot about the ride down there…it was amazing…we are driving on the parkway and we do are stupid stuff of holding signs up signs that say I <3 you and all to people…so we are driving and this Jeep pulls up next to us and the girl screams something…I think it was yeah…or something like that…now we didn’t fuck with them so I look at Chris and I am like now we have to fuck with them…so they are in the left lane and I am in the center…I close my window and grab the I <3 you sign from Chris and hold it up…so they laughed and came back with one…so it was a sign war down the parkway…so we go back and forth and all…and finally this chick gave us her number without us asking for it…fucking bad ass man…so I gave Chris my phone and he called her…and they were talking and stuff…it was funny…stuff like that needs to happen more often to me…but oh well its all good…so now I am here at work…I have nothing to do at all…I did almost everything I had to do…I just have to install something on someone’s computer but I will do that at around 12…and after that I am free…so I will have about 5 hours to kill…which sucks but is a good thing mainly because screw doing work…lol…ah well its all good…I’m off…later
